Our Art Curriculum
Art is high profile at Northlands. With a dedicated art room where lessons are taught by our highly skilled art instructor, pupils receive an hour of devoted art lessons each week. We are fortunate enough to have our own kiln room as part of our art provision, so creative skills taught extend to 3D art. Lessons are supplemented by a range of after school clubs in the arts. The purpose of this policy is to show how at Northlands, we enable pupils to leave primary school as confident, capable and creative artists, able to use our imaginations and create work that is pleasing for ourselves and can be appreciated and critiqued by stakeholders across the school.
