RECEPTION 2024
Applications for Reception 2024 should be made online to Essex County Council via

The applications open in November 2023 for Children starting school in September 2024.
SECONDARY 2024
Applications for Secondary Schools 2024 should be made online to Essex County Council via

MID-YEAR ADMISSIONS from 1st April 2022
Applications for school places for outside the normal admissions
As you will be aware, Essex County Council (ECC) handles all In Year (mid-year) applications for infants, juniors and primary school places in Essex.
From 1st April 2022, Northlands Primary School will be handling all our own Mid-Year applications (sometimes called In-Year applications). Mid-Year applications are any application for a school place made to a year group, apart from September admissions to Reception.
For applications into existing year groups, a place will be offered when a number of pupils in the relevant year group is below the admission number for that year group.
If you are interested in changing your child's current school to Northlands Primary School and Nursery, please complete the application form below.

Once your application has been submitted and received, you will receive a reply within 15 school days.
Please note: if a mid-year application is received during a school holiday period, we will respond as soon as possible when the school reopens.
Please DO NOT apply to the school if your child is due to start Reception or Secondary School as this process still needs to be completed through Essex County Council.
